A fact to start us off:
Growing up, most of us are taught that owls are nocturnal – but this isn’t always true! Some owl species are crepuscular (active at dawn/dusk), and some are diurnal (active during the day), and the eye colour is often a clue to when they’re active. Orange eyes tend to appear in crepuscular species, yellow in diurnal, and black/brown in nocturnal!

This isn’t really a fact, but I was baffled by it, so... counts?
Did you know that this phrase: Do geese see God, can be read the same backwards?

...How strange. Makes me wonder who noticed that first (and why they even asked the question).

I personally love Tapirs and find that they are adorable creatures. What’s more adorable is that a group of Tapirs is called a candle. Candle! I will be very disappointed if this fact is proven false. I actually have another fact - a not cool fact actually. All tapir populations are in decline - who would want to make such cuties go away? As an aspiring Zookeeper I am going to absolutely start a tapir breeding campaign in the future. I also would love to help out with Snow Leopards and Asiatic Lions. Asiatic Lions will be a huge task as for they are actually extinct in the wild and only exist in captivity! I am hoping to change that one day (if it won’t be too late by the time).
These were many facts in one but I felt like all these just need to be heard.
