Sunkit watched us Beekit flew past her, Catching the fluttering butterfly in her jaws with ease. Sunkit couldn't watch as she Sucked it up. "That was the most disgusting thing you ever done, Beekit!", Sunkit turned back to her, "It's even more disgusting than when you ate that worm!" She put her head low, and whispered into Beekit's ears, "Also, about following Dustykit, It seems fun, but under two conditions..." She looked into Beekit's beautifully green eyes. "We have to sneak off so Skyflower won't see us, or she'll ask us where we're going. And you got to admit that I won!" Sunkit said the last bit louder, giving the cheekiest smile she was able, staring Beekit straight in the face. She stood straight with her tail held up. She couldn't believe herself, what was this new side of her? Am I turning Rebellious? Little shiver went down her spine as the wind picked up. A leaf blew past her and she looked around, just in time to get hit in the face by a huge leaf that was left after leaf-fall, totally ruining her moment. She blew it off, and the wind picked it up again, taking it away from camp.

Beekit was grinning cheekily, but her grin vanished once she heard what her sister said. She lashed her tail angrily, that disgusting? I thought we agreed to not talk about that worm! I was only 1 moon old then! She thought to herself. Her mind raced with ideas of payback, something just as embarrassing or icky. What could it be, what could it- That's it! Without a moment's pause, her cheeky grin reappeared as she remembered one incident...
"Hey, Sunkit. Wanna talk about that one time when you rolled into that huge pile of pigeon dung?" Beekit sneered, her green eyes flickering with mischief. That'll teach her!
Once their focus altered back onto Dustykit, she nodded as her sister spoke of Skyflower. "That was my intent - I'm not that mouse-brained! Do you know how much experience I have in this?" Beekit quietly hissed. Then suddenly, at the mention of the race, the calico she-kit's fur rose. Her nose wrinkled in a mixture of disgust and disbelief.
"Never! I won that fair and square - you got a head start and I still came in front!" She meowed in disagreement as the small she-kit straightened her back and puffed up her chest in victory.

Beekit's grin dropped at the mention of her eating a worm, but so did Sunkit's smirk when her sister mentioned the pigeon dung. That was the most embarrassing story she could've have mentioned. "I don't remember that happening!" She giggled slightly as she said it, "your totally making that up!" Sunkit wasn't really paying attention to what her sister what saying, her mind on that evening where she and her sister found the pigeon poop, but she heard her sister say she wasn't mouse-brained. "You totally are mouse-brained" she carried on listening to what her sister was saying, "what experience, tumbling through nurseries?" Sunkit watched as Beekit became all puffed up, chest out. I guess I can let this race go, I'll win someday, she though to herself. "Fine," She mumbled the last bit, "you won..." She looked around the camp, trying to remember where Dustykit went of to. After a few moment she gave up trying to look for him and just looked at Beekit and asked, "Do you remember where Dustykit went?" while she waited for her sister's reply, she looked around to see what Skyflower was doing, she couldn't spot the grey and white she-cat, but Jaguarshine came in through the camp entrance, holding a squirrel in his jaw.

The small calico she-kit flicked an ear at her sister's response. "Whatever, I don't want to embarrass you anymore with that story otherwise I might start to gag!" She scrunched up her nose in fake disgust as she made an 'eww' exclamation.
Beekit's funny demeanour was quickly broken when her sister went on to focus on Dustykit and finding him. She felt the fur on her neck and spine rise as a small flame of anger started to burn. "If you don't want to come, then say so. I'm just as fine without you, as I said, I know what I'm doing." Hissed Beekit gently, careful to not be overheard by unwelcomed listeners. Getting unwanted attention is the least thing I want right now, she thought to herself as her green eyes darted across camp, examining the best escape.
But suddenly, her attention was brought to Sunkit once again, and this time it was about something she wanted to hear. 'Fine, you won'. A purr began to rise in her throat as victory flooded over her and her head and tail began to rise in triumph. "That's what I thought! Now..." She continued in a hushed voice, careful to (once again) not attract attention. "Do you want to come or not?" As much as she knew she'd be better off venturing alone, she enjoyed the company Sunkit provided and didn't want for her elder sibling to feel left out. Embarking on this together could help them bond better, too.

Even though Sunkit wasn't a big fan of losing, who was to be honest, she couldn't help but grin when her sister started to purr. She nearly didn't hear when her sister started talking again, but she understood anyways. "Of course I do, I can't let you have all the fun!" and I have to make sure nothing happens to you, she thought to herself. She looked around camp once more, still not remembering which way Dustykit went, she gave up and looked at her sister, "do you remember which way he went?" She waited for her sister to answer. She saw Jaguarshine out the corner of her eye, dropping his squirrel into the fresh-kill pile, when he looked up his gaze fell on Sunkit, she flinched. After a moment he just walked of somewhere. Sunkit realised how much the sun has risen, their mother must be waking up by now. Her mind went back to Dustykit, imagining where he went of to and what he could possibly be doing. Her thoughts then started asking questions, What if we get caught? What if Herrongaze wakes up and notices where missing? Would she alarm every clan cat in the camp? Would Ashstar sent a rescue team out to find us? She shook her head, this could be our only chance to have and adventure like this for a long time.

Flicking an ear at her sister's agreement in joining the fun, she began gazing around the clearing, trying to remember which way Dustykit went. Luckily, her brain had good memory, and so she remembered that Dustykit left through the Dirt Place tunnel as her green gaze landed on the secluded entrance. Sneaky, sneaky. Going through the Dirt Place and escaping through a whole somewhere! She thought to herself as her sister seemed to have started wondering what she already figured out.
"Yup, I saw him. He left through the Dirt Place tunnel - probably left camp through a gap in the walls or something. Cheeky tom!" Exclaimed Beekit triumphantly. But the calico she-kit quickly hushed herself as if she was doing nothing of interest as she noticed a familiar figure enter the clearing. The brown spotted pelt told them that it was Jaguarshine, and he was heading for the fresh-kill pile for the morning.
Beekit suddenly became aware of how much time passed, the sun had begun peaking over the trees and was letting it's rays reach camp, warming her and Sunkit's pelts soothingly. As much as such a morning would be blissful and pleasant, this meant that it would be extremely risky to try and venture out of camp in search for Dustykit. Such an adventure couldn't take place anymore at this time. Beekit felt her sister flinch beside her, wondering why, Beekit looked around camp. Her gaze landed on Jaguarshine as he watched the two back for a moment longer before leaving the two alone once more.
The small she-kit looked at her sister with a disappointed glance. "Sorry sis, but we'll have to cancel this adventure. We might get caught! And besides, I just wanted to explore, I don't really care what Dustykit is up to. The clan can search for him later if they want."
Just then, a familiar brown tabby figured appeared into camp looking drowsy as ever. Herrongaze. The she-cat stretched and yawned before noticing Beekit and Sunkit. "Why are you two up so early? You were meant to be in your nest!". Beekit knew she wouldn't get in trouble for leaving camp, since their quest had been put on hold, but she completely forgot that she and Sunkit aren't even meant to be up yet.

To Sunkit's disappointment, Beekit said she doesn't want to follow Dustykit anymore. What a shame, but I guess its probably for the better of things. The sun was getting in her eyes now, making her blink rapidly trying to see what's going on, but it had this relaxing feel to it. She was so distracted that she didn't even realise their mother was standing just outside the nursery until she asked them what they were doing. At the sound of her mother, Sunkit jumped and her tail went stiff. "M-morning, m-mum!" Sunkit forgot how to speak for a moment, what was it her mother just asked? oh, yeah! "I woke up, and then I woke up Beekit because I couldn't fall asleep again," She knew this was a lie, but she didn't want her sister to get into too much trouble, "I asked her if we can go outside, and Skyflower was here to look after us, and we didn't make a lot of noise, so we didn't disturb any elders or warriors. I promise." She really hoped Herrongaze would let them of. Their mother looked at Beekit, then Sunkit, as if trying to tell if they were lying by their looks.

As Beekit was about to explain what had happened, Sunkit interrupted her and told a blatant lie. Everything she had said was twisted - it was her who woke Sunkit up, it was her who suggested to go out. She knew that her sister was trying to cover up for her, but as much as she tried, the small she-kit couldn't stop but feel annoyed and slightly angry. Doesn't her sister think she can own up? Doesn't she think that Beekit can take the blame? The calico she-kit's fur rose up - this is why mother thinks I'm useless, because Sunkit always acts as if I can't take responsibility!
Herongaze glanced at the two and shrugged, "I don't like that you two left without my permission, but so long that Skyflower was there to check up on you, I'll let you two off" Decided the queen before padding up to the fresh-kill pile and taking a piece of prey beside the nursery to eat.
Beekit turned away from Herongaze and padded away, glaring at her sister before whispering angrily. "You didn't have to say that!" Hissed Beekit under her breath "You think I can't take the blame? Can't handle responsibility?" The small she-kit didn't wait for a response, she had already began moving away, clearly not wanting to hear anything from her sister. Though Beekit loved Sunkit, she sometimes couldn't help but feel annoyed at the fact that her sister had to always cover up for her. It's annoying.

Sunkit flinched as Beekit hissed at her. She didn't mean to upset her. Why would she ever want to upset her sister? "Beekit! I didn't mean it like that!" She hurried along as her sister got up to leave. "I am your bigger sister, and sometimes I get this feeling, as if I have to protect you." Sunkit's heart felt heavy as Beekit didn't even try to listen to her reply, her stomach in knots. I don't want to lose you, Beekit, not like this. She thought to herself, "Please, Beekit, listen to me!" she was being desperate now, she knows that by the end of the day they would have made up, but she doesn't want to spend her time alone, especially now that everyone is still sleeping. She stopped walking, hoping her sister will stop and turn around. Please, please, please, Star-clan! Make her turn around! She prayed for her sister in her head, even thought she knew Star-clan is not that powerful. She watched as her sister kept walking away from her, she felt as if she's going to cry. "I'm sorry, Beekit." she said underneath her breath, suddenly becoming aware of Herrongaze eating a plump squirrel beside the nursery, "I'm so sorry"

Beekit felt a pang of sorrow stab through her heart. As upset as she was with Sunkit, she knew that her sister meant no harm. But, Beekit didn't want to forgive her just yet - at least not until her sister understands that she can take care of herself. Pausing for a brief moment, Beekit turned her head slightly. "Don't act like this, you nearly in tears isn't going to help." She commented "And it doesn't matter if you're older or not - I'm just as able as you!" Beekit twisted round to face her sister. "So don't ever feel like you 'have to protect me' because you don't! In fact, protect yourself if you want something to do" Spat Beekit, twisting round again and walked away towards the fresh-kill pile where her mother, Herongaze, ate a plump mouse.
The small she-kit had already eaten today - something very distasteful, but enough to not make her hungry. As she approached the queen, Herongaze seemed to have noticed that her kit was upset.
"Beekit, dear, what's wrong?" She asked, pausing her feast on the mouse and gently placing a soft tail over Beekit. Beekit shrugged in response. "I don't know, mother. Maybe I'm tired." It had been an obvious lie to Beekit - and Sunkit if she had heard - but Herongaze took that as a valid answer and proceeded to eat.
"Well, that's what happens when you leave the nursery so early. When did you leave exactly? I hope not at Moon-High!" Murmured Herongaze in between mouth-fulls of mouse.

Sunkit was about to walk of, when Beekit's voice filled her ears. But, the words that were hissed from her sister's mouth were not the words she wanted to hear. When Beekit was done with what she had to say, Sunkit watched as she walked towards Herongaze. Sunkit couldn't bear her sister's words and she run back into the nursery, her nest still warm and messy. She tidied it while thinking about what Beekit said. She couldn't just stop herself from feeling protective over her sister, how could she? Even if Beekit is annoying or rude to her she can't not love her. When she was done with her bedding, she exhaled a long breath. How long have I been holding my breath for?. She looked at her sister's nest, it wasn't any better than her's a few moments ago, if not worse. She sighted and began to tidy her sister's nest beside her own. When she was done, she decided she will try to restrain herself from taking on all the blame for Beekit. She was right after-all. She didn't like the idea that Beekit will be in trouble, but it was her sister's wish. She walked out the nursery, in search of her sister.

Beekit shook her head at her mother's remark. "No, mother, we left not long ago, actually. The sun was already up, but everyone else was asleep." She replied whilst fumbling with her paws and tail to find a better position to lie down on. Herongaze must've found this quite annoying as her response was a flick on the ear with her tail and a 'settle down'. Once the small she-kit situated herself accordingly, she relaxed and let the sun's rays warm her flank.
Now she understood why elders enjoyed sunbathing so much; it's ever so calming and relaxing, not to say a treat if you're lucky enough to have a sunny day. Purring to herself, she stretched on the sandy floor, her paws and tail waving about carelessly.
"Honestly!" Came a sudden angry tone from her mother, "Watch where you wave your paws, you caught the tail of my mouse and almost flung it across camp." She explained, her eyes narrowed and her said mouse no longer beside her. Slightly panicked, Beekit glanced around for the mouse and caught sight of it in her paws, the tail holding onto the end of her claw. Quickly standing up and dropping the mouse next to Herongaze, she repeated 'sorry' a numerous amount of times before her mother rolled her eyes and sustained a purr. "It's alright, just be more careful next time"

When she came out the nursery, she looked around for Beekit. There she is! Sunkit thought as she saw her sister waving her paws wildly next to Herongaze. Their mother sure didn't look pleased. When Sunkit got there, she heard Beekit repeat 'sorry' more times than there are mice in the forest. their mother's reply was, 'just be more careful next time' Sunkit walked up to them, eyeing the mouse on the floor. "What has Beekit done this time?" she asked jokingly, even thought she could see a dusty mouse next to Herongaze, and from the way Beekit has been waving around her paws and tail. She guessed that her sister has knocked the mouse out of their mother's paws. Looking at the mouse, Sunkit became aware that her stomach was rumbling. She desired a plump mouse, she tried to locate the ever-changing fresh-kill pile. It was a couple of fox-lengths from them. She walked over there, and looked inside the pile. She picked up a mouse, it wasn't 'plumb' but then you can't have what you always want. She walked back over to her mother and sister, not knowing what to do but eat in silence. She was bored and wanted to do something. "Beekit, wanna find something to do?"

Beekit flicked her ears at her sister's question, slightly frustrated and annoyed that she always has to be at the same place she is when something goes wrong. As Sunkit quickly left and came back with a mouse in her jaw, Beekit padded away from her mother to sit near a holly bush in the shade. Unlike where her mother is, being in the shade is much cooler and refreshing, making Beekit unnaturally full of energy.
Her tail lashed behind her, making leaves and dirt fly up - luckily, no one is around to tell her off for this. Suddenly, something large flew past her face. Glancing around, she saw a huge leaf fluttering down to the ground. Obtaining to weird urge to not allow this leaf to fall and reach the ground, she batted at it from below, making the leaf rise higher and higher off the ground.
Back where her mother and sister are, she heard Sunkit ask if they should find something to do. Well, Beekit thought, she already has found something to do, she purred to herself, shooting the leaf back into the air with a paw.
OOC: Plump is spelled with a 'p' at the end, not a 'b'.

Sunkit realised Beekit was gone when her head went up from her half eaten mouse. Beekit wasn't sitting next to her and Herongaze, but in the shadow of a holly bush. Sunkit started eating more quickly now, trying to finish and find something to play with Beekit. She kept looking at Beekit, making sure she wouldn't lose sight of her sister once again. Every so often Sunkit would choke slightly as she took in half-chewed meat. Beekit was currently lashing her tail around, summoning clouds of dust around her. Sunkit had not much more to eat, so she stopped looking around and ate her mouse, it must have been freshly caught as it was still warm. I wonder who's been on patrol this early? She finished, licked her mouth clean and run over to Beekit, who was currently playing with a fallen leaf. Sunkit waited until the leaf got a bit too far away for her sister to reach, and she pounced. She overshot the leaf and had to use her tail to bring it up again. The leaf went high, higher than what she saw of Beekit's attempts. But, as she landed, her paw slipped on wet grass she fell face first into mud. Well, at least Beekit has something to laugh about now! Sunkit realised how stupid she must look like, her fluffly, golden fur now flat and brow on her face and chest. She laughed! She couldn't stop herself, all she could do was laugh. What else are you meant to do when you do something awesome and then mess it up right at the end? She thought. OOC: Fixed the spelling!
