OOC: No worries, sometimes you just gotta ramble, and mine not be perfect because I'm forcing myself to sit down and do this with no exceptions.
The purr that greeted her certainly did not fall on deaf ears; even if it was a brief moment of such a thing. Her tail curled once more, pleased to hear such a thing, and if she could smile she very well might. For now, however, her stance remained relaxed, and calm, as she glanced over at him, though there was certainly no lack of confidence in her frame, either.
If she had a sharper tongue; and a far more equal standing with the leader, perhaps she could make a jab about his appetite right back. After all, he seemed all too lax to go after a rabbit, and if this were a game of gentle jabs, one could easily remark that he was getting a bit lazy in his status. However, that joke probably would not fly over as amusing as it sounded in her head, so a new one would have to be devised instead.
She could also turn his question into an opportunity for a flirt; something she very well considered for a good few moments. After all, rabbits were prey, and she was certainly on a chase for some. As always, she didn't give him an entirely speedy answer; she wasn't quick on the draw, nor was she particularly slow, either. Her posture gave away the fact she wasn't angry, just thinking for a few moments on the best way to answer him.
"Well how very kind of you for inquiring." She decided on that, purposefully framing his words as a genuine care rather than a tease; it was a tease right back all the same. "I can appreciate a leader that cares so much about his fellow Boars and their nutrition - or apparent lack thereof." She teased, letting him ultimately have the win of the narrative of her being 'hungry'.
