As a special promotion, we are lifting the lock on Limited Traits from now until July 1st. This means that all new and existing members of TCE will be able to claim up to two Limited Traits each, as long as they have not previously claimed a free trait.
This promotion includes all of TCE’s existing Limited Traits, with the following caveats:
1. Some traits will be slot-based, and will be closed once those slots are claimed (see the second post of this thread for both)
2. Traits that are not slot-based may close early if their numbers become excessive (this is most likely to impact traits such as blindness / loss of limb).
3. Each claimed trait can be used once. I.E: If you want two blind cats, you need to claim two blindness traits.
4. You must create your trait-bearing cat/s within one month of claiming your trait/s.
Note that you’re welcome to use both of your Limited Traits on one character, or to use them on separate characters.
To claim a Limited Trait, please state the trait/s you want to claim, the name of the character you intend to apply them to, and either:
1. Provide a brief summary of the character; OR
2. Provide a brief roleplay sample featuring the character.
You will be notified once your claim has been accepted, and will be free to create the profile immediately after.
Please note that the summary/roleplay sample will not be used as a basis for denying any trait claims. Instead, it’s simply intended as a way to get you thinking about your character/s, showcase a little of what you’re planning to do with your trait/s, and help promote early plotting. We want a sneak-preview so we can excited about your new additions!
