Over time, some elements of the Valley’s history have become warped by misinterpretation, superstition, or the fear they became associated with. Many of these elements came to take a life of their own, developing alongside the clan’s needs and perceptions until they became something new – and as ingrained within the Valley Cat’s culture as the history from which they were derived. These are the Valley’s Myths: the places and figures that sprang from a collision of reality and mind.

This section of TCE’s lore has been developed to provide an insight into some of the Valley Cat’s core mythology (excluding Starclan), and to offer some additional flavour that can be woven into your writing. Each place or figure has been provided with its own short profile, which summarises its origins, appearance, modern usage, and any other key notes to keep in mind. Members are welcome to contort and add to these Myths however they please, or to ignore them they deem it more suitable.
