Gᴇɴᴇʀᴀʟ Rᴜʟᴇs & Cᴏɴᴅᴜᴄᴛ1. Be civil to each other at all times, and avoid airing disputes in the shoutbox or on the boards. If you are having problems with another member, please PM a staff member for assistance. 2. Be aware that a new member's first profile will not be accepted until that member has PM'ed Greymuzzles our current 'secret code' (please entitle this message 'Verification' so it can easily be identified). This code is hidden amongst our rules, and is our best way of verifying that members have read said rules. 3. As of February 2018, all new members have one month to complete their first profile. Members who fail to complete a profile before the end of their first month will be deleted from the site (extensions may be given on a case-by-case basis if you contact a member of staff). 4. All new members are welcome to join our Discord, but will initially have limited access. Full Discord access will be granted once a user has posted their first profile and verified their account.

1. Swearing is not to be directed at any member on site under any circumstances. It <i>is</i> permitted in-character, but should be swapped for warrior-style cursing wherever possible.
2. Mature/graphic content is not permitted on this forum, as it breaches Proboards Terms and Conditions. Similarly, mating and kiting should not be roleplayed on the boards.
3. Any scene that involves violence (I.E: cat fights, etc) should be roughly PG13.

Rᴏʟᴇᴘʟᴀʏ
1. We prefer our members to be ‘semi-literate’, but will accept most writers as long as they are able to produce coherent, well-thought-out posts, spellcheck before submitting, and do not use chatspeak in-character. You must also be capable of consistently writing a minimum of 150 words per roleplay post, as our roleplay boards will not allow smaller posts to be submitted.
2. Roleplay posts should be written in the past tense, using the first person. Speech should be written in bold to help other users pick it from the rest of your post, thoughts should be in italics, and quoted speech from previous posts should be written in italics and enclosed with single quotations ('example'). You have the option to colour-code your character's speech if desired.
3. All roleplay threads are to follow a strict posting order to ensure that all members involved are able to keep up with events. Should a member of the roleplay fall inactive, you must wait a minimum of one week before skipping their turn (longer if they’ve posted in the absences board and are still within the dates of that absence). If all participants are active, permission should be gained before skipping any member.
4. TCE uses 'fluid time', meaning that your cats can be in more than one thread at once. However, older threads will usually fall before newer ones in timelines, and will be declared 'in the past' whenever the main site time formally advances. Threads that are officially set in the past must not reference any future threads or events.

Cᴏɴᴛʀᴏʟ ᴏꜰ Cʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀs / Cʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ Dᴇᴀᴛʜs1. Control of a character remains exclusive to the member who created that character, unless they choose to put it for up adoption. Once a character has been adopted by another player, control of what happens to that character is exclusive to the adopter. It is, however, good manners to inform the original owner before roleplaying extreme events such as the character’s death. 2. There is to be no powerplay (PP) or god-moding (GM) under any circumstances. Similarly, you cannot kill another member’s cat without their express permission, which itself must be clearly posted in the thread in which this character death occurs. 3. If a cat dies in roleplay, please PM both the owner of the clan Leader and Greymuzzles to let them know.
